Mike Layton is a UX professional with over 20 years of experience designing consumer and enterprise web applications, with a focus on component frameworks, interaction patterns, responsive design, prototyping, and writing front-end code. With a passion for solving hard problems, he turns complex business requirements into human-centered design solutions, and brings web-based products from vision to completion, including design systems, multi-device design, and crisp visual details. He has extensive experience and skills in user experience design, user interface design, responsive design, visual design, personas, journey mapping, user flows, information architecture, wireframing, prototyping, usability testing, front-end development, web accessibility, content production, art direction, and icon design.

Mike has a B.A. in Visual Arts, from the Digital and Imaging Arts program at the University of Maryland.
